In 2011, we saw Fever Ray at Coachella. To this day, it may be the most influential 45 minutes of my life. Cotton and I weren't going to make this album without paying homage. On the same mix of jams that held the beginnings of Blood Red Sun was a very short little piece of music. I was on a bike ride listening and this vocal came to my head that felt more like a rap than anything. It felt odd...THIS?...For our Fever Ray song? Yes. Cotton created what I think might be the coolest track we've ever come up with and added a transcendent piano build paired with this walking bass line that takes us further and further into TheWoods than we ever had gone before. Miracle Tip is absolutely the album's game changer. And I will always believe in its power.
